Q: How is massage therapy beneficial?

 

A: The benefits of massage therapy are endless. Massages reduce stress, increase relaxation, reduce pain, muscle soreness, and tension. Each session will Improve circulation, energy, and alertness, Lowering heart rate and blood pressure. It enhances your sleep, exercise routine, and flexibility.

Q: Does cupping therapy hurt?

 

A: The cups tightly stick to the skin and there is no extreme pain, more like a good pain that fades as they stay on. Once released it will leave marks and depending on how much tension you have in your body you may be a bit sore afterward. Cupping is equivalent to deep tissue without painful pressure. Cupping is great for anyone experiencing acute and chronic pain.

 

Q: How long will it take for my body to see results with body contouring?

 

A: When it comes to stubborn fat and loose skin, nonsurgical body contouring can make dramatic improvements after just 2-6 weeks that would take months to achieve with diet and exercise alone. Using all 3 together you can see results after a few sessions. Body contouring speeds up fat loss. So if your looking to add something to your routine to help slim your waist this is a great enhancement to invest in.

Q:What can I do at home after getting a massage ?

 

A: Best thing to do after a good massage is relax. Allow the massage to settle in to get the benefits. Drink lots of water to flush the toxins out and make sure to stretch to keep the blood circulating to the muscles.

Q: Why does cupping create marks on your body?

 

A: The vacuum produced from cupping causes a localized expansion of the tissue. Cupping is supposed to minimize circulating toxins by drawing them into the skin where they are more easily removed.

Q: How many times should I be getting a massage?

 

A: Every 2-4 weeks is ideal. Your body goes through a lot week to week, you should take time out your month to let your body reset and rejuvenate.  

 

Q: Are hot stones really hot?

 

A: Yes they are, but the therapist will not place them directly to the skin without making sure the stone is cool down enough to be able to move around thoroughly for the massage. 

 

Q: What the difference between a Swedish massage and deep tissue?

 

A: The difference between these two modalities is pressure. Swedish is light to medium pressure, more of a relaxation massage technique. Deep tissue is strictly deep therapeutic pressure, specifically  to manipulate tissue to help relieve chronic pain.

Q: How many Contouring treatments will I need? 


A: To see maximum results a course of 8 treatments is recommended, per body area. These treatments should be done twice per week at regular intervals.

 

Q: What happens after each Body Contouring treatment? 

 

A: One can resume normal activities immediately as Contouring is completely non-invasive with no down-time whatsoever. However, some form of exercise is necessary to burn off the drained fat (fuel) as energy.
